Acclimation & I.P.M. Notes

Plants shipped to growers should be opened and inspected immediately for signs of damage or concerns with pests / pathogens etc. We ship all plants with white roots and green canopy that passes our Quality Control Inspections. The plants are grown in nursery vegetative environment and the new room parameters should be replicated by the receiving growers to match approximately 80* with 70% RH +/- a few points on either spec should be sufficient. Low wattage LED lighting was used to achieve 200 PAR average at canopy level so be sure to match or slightly increase that before vegging further. Photoperiod is 24/0 for Clones & Teens so when intaking we suggest keeping at 24/0.

New plants should be acclimated in a quarantine space separated from other plants, so you can treat and monitor them until ready to introduce into general population. After 1-3 days acclimating usually new plants will be hardened off and ready for transplant into new media and can proceed to lower the Temps & Humidity for later veg stages or beginning of Flower stage.

Irrigate new plants with similar nutrients as we were using which is a base Veg program at 2.5-3.0 EC levels and 5.8-6.0 PH ranges then introduce your higher levels and bloom recipes as transitioning or see fit to your programs.

All our nursery locations follow strict integrated pest / pathogen management programs to prevent any issues in the grow. We rotate a variety of foliar sprays done 3 times a week and media drenches done weekly.

These applications are for mother plants, teen plants, and clones. Frequency or Products used, and Dosages vary based on location and the pressure seen, if any.

When shoppers buy and receive plants from Clone2u, we recommend RINSING the canopy via clone dunk in a PH'd water solution mixed with Zerotol [27% H202] Dosage rate @ 15ml / gal (shown in the rates below) for CUTTINGS to remove the previous IPM sprays used (Note we use MICRONIZED SULFUR and it leaves a white residue on leaves, and needs to be RINSED BEFORE you apply any kind of sprays or it will burn the canopy

Zerotol is a concentrated solution of H202. If you don't have you access to Zerotol, you can use store bought H202 as it usually comes in lower at 3% strength but still can be used to assist in rinsing off. H202 aids in pest and pathogen protection so essentially using H202 upon intake to rinse, is, in itself an IPM application. Ideally, of course, followed up with another product for protection post initial application.

After the rinse off and acclimation you can proceed to spray or dunk with an oil based IPM or other treatment desired. When in doubt, spray/dunk a small canopy section or single plant before the group to mitigate loss from incompatible IPM programs. We recommend researching or utilizing a Professional IPM consultant to design a program fit for your needs.

For preventative and curative programs against fusarium, pythium, and pests, we HIGHly recommend the BioSafe IPM program below. These products may, or may not be available at local speciality stores, however you can buy online or contact our favorite rep directly here BioSafe Dusty
